Phoenix Wright is a former insurance agent who specializes in investigating scams. A rich aerodynamics executive hires Phoenix to lead a team of criminals to take back aeronautical plans allegedly stolen from him from a competitor: Ryu the muscle, Felicia the cat burglar, and Zero the hacker.Once the job was completed, they are double-crossed and were nearly blown up in a warehouse. In retaliation, they band together, along with Morrigan the grifter, to stage an intricate con and get the corrupt executive arrested by the FBI. Feeling the thrill of their first job together as freelance, they form Leverage, an organization who helps those victimized by the corrupt where the law is no help. They don't break the law, they pick up where the law leaves off.
