From "The Cutie Map", Twilight Sparkle and the others traverse Equestria to come across an odd little town where the citizens were wearing rather forced and creepy smiles 24/7. That, and all their Cutie Marks are exactly the same. Didn't matter if it were earth pony, unicorn, or pegasus.
Twilight was rather perturbed by the town's philosophy on equality.
Rainbow Dash thinks the whole idea of giving up a Cutie Mark is just downright stupid.
Rarity was simply mortified by the town's lack of decor and taste.
Applejack was just creeped out at the whole thing.
Fluttershy seemed more or less accepting as she tried to keep an open mind. The citizens are really friendly, so it can't be a bad town... right?
Pinkie Pie flat out hated being there as everything there to her was just fake. Oh, and their food equally tastes like crap. ("I've eaten CARDBOARD that was tastier than those 'muffins'!")
The girls don't know it yet, but there are a certain few whose lives they will later impact...
